The ocean has always called explorers, and Adreno has answered by becoming the World’s Best Dive Store. Our journey kicked off back in 2001, in the backstreets of Woolloongabba, Brisbane. Armed with passion and experience, former Australian Spearfishing Champion Tim Neilsen set out to build more than just a shop. He wanted to create a hub for ocean lovers—a place where the gear is top quality, the advice is expert, and the vibe is pure adventure.
Fast forward, and Adreno has made a splash across Australia! In 2015, our Sydney megastore opened its doors to over 500 excited customers queued around the block. Melbourne followed in 2016, Perth in 2018, and the Gold Coast in 2021—with hundreds lining up for every single grand opening. Each launch was more like a festival of the ocean than a store opening! But here’s the best part: Adreno isn’t just a store—it’s an experience. With over 70 passionate crew members, we’ve built Australia’s largest playground for spearfishing, scuba diving, freediving, and wetsuit adventures. Our team doesn’t just sell gear—they live and breathe the underwater lifestyle, making Adreno the ultimate destination for anyone who loves the sea.
