We begin at the dive center where we take some time to talk about diving. We explain how it feels to breathe underwater, how the equipment works, and cover the most important diving theory so you feel comfortable and prepared for your underwater experience.

In the SSI Basic Diver program, you will learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving up to 12 meters deep with an SSI Professional. It is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully as you try diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your dive adventure.

After the introduction, we take the boat to a shallow sandy area. Here you will get used to breathing underwater and practice a few skills together with your instructor. This helps you feel relaxed and confident while diving.

Once you feel comfortable, we take the boat to a beautiful coral reef where you will enjoy a real dive together with your instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

Your instructor will stay with you the whole time so you can relax and fully enjoy exploring the underwater world
