In 2015 Bader Shehhi created Musandam discovery diving, in his home town Khasab. Having grown up in a fisherman family and worked for various dive centres he decided that he wanted to welcome people from all walks of life to his home town Khasab to embrace the natural beauty of the area. Truly passionate about diving and Musandam, your experience will be enriched with his knowledge of the area, on land and in the water. Khasab is a city in exclave of Oman bordering the United Arab Emirates. It is the local capital of the Musandam Peninsula and has frequently been named as the “Norway of Arabia“ because of its extensive fjord-like craggy inlets and jaw dropping landscapes. Surrounded by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Oman, Musandam has on of the widest bio-diversities of marine life in the world. The unique deep drops-offs and cool water upwelling provide an abundance of plankton, making this a rich feeding ground for a huge variety of marine life and coral gardens.
