I started diving in 2004 while on holiday in Fuerteventura, I have to say want an amazing adventure I’ve had since. I would have never dreamed opening my own SSI Training Centre a few years later. I want Scuba to be fun, we are committed to provide every customer with the link between professional training and customer-oriented diving activities. ★★★★☆ Stoney Cove
La cava di Stoney Cove era originariamente una miniera di granito. Nel 1958, quando l'attività estrattiva nel sito cessò, la cava si riempì di acqua di sorgente. Oggi, il sito è composto da 3 livelli principali: un'area a scaffale di 6m, ideale per l'allenamento dei principianti, un pozzo di 36m per l'allenamento più avanzato e il corpo principale composto da 2 grandi aree profonde 22m.
★★★★☆ Capernwray (Jackdaw Quarry)
Capernwray è il sito di immersione interno del nord-ovest frequentato da molti subacquei e scuole. Tende ad aprire nei fine settimana e dal giovedì in inverno e il mercoledì fino a sera in estate.
★★★★☆ St. Abbs
Alcuni dei siti d'immersione più famosi di St. Abbs si trovano a soli 50 metri dalla parete del porto: "Cathedral Rock", "Big Green Carr", "Broad Craig" e "Little Carr". Questi siti possono essere immersi come un'immersione a terra dal porto o altri siti possono essere raggiunti con la barca per le immersioni.
★★★★☆ Farne Islands
Le isole Farne sono famose per una colonia di 4,5 mila foche grigie e brulicano di vita nei vari siti di immersione. La maggior parte dei siti sono intorno alle Farnes esterne con relitti e scogliere da esplorare.
★★★★☆ Eight Acre Lake
L'Otto Acri ha una profondità massima di 14 m, ideale per la maggior parte dei corsi di addestramento, e offre buone opportunità per le immersioni ricreative. Se necessario, intorno al lago sono presenti diverse piattaforme di addestramento a diverse profondità. Ci sono due ingressi profondi al lago e un pendio con parapetti.
