Dive Travel - North Stradbroke Island Diving Getaway (28th October to 1st November)

Come join the Chris for an amazing getaway to the World Famous North Stradbroke Island During you time here, you will dive at Shag Rock, Flat Rock or Manta Bommie, which is rated as a Top 10 Dive Site in Australia. North Stradbroke Island’s reefs are teeming with diverse marine life year-round, as well as seasonal visitors such as manta rays and leopard sharks in summer, and grey nurse sharks and humpback whales in winter. The natural rocky island is surrounded by vibrant coral gardens that are home to turtles, wobbegongs, leopard sharks, eagle rays, reef fish, pelagic fish. Water temperature is around 20 – 22 degrees, and viz can easily be over 20m. Departure Location: As group you will all board a specially arranged transfer from Brisbane Airport to Cleveland. Here you will all board the Ferry to North Stradbroke Island The trip includes: Diving - 3 days of Diving (Double Boats Dives) – 6 dives in total - dives include tanks/weights – you can do additional dive for an additional fee. Accommodation Share dorm bed - 6 per room Upgrade on accommodation (Subject to availability) Double/twin room - $120 per room per night 4 share dorm bed - $60 per bed per night Transfers Return ferry tickets Return airport transfers, Brisbane-Cleveland All this for just $670 per person. Not Included: Flights to and from Brisbane Meals & Drinks Diving Equipment (excluding Tanks & Weights) What to bring: Any additional food you would like to eat. Accommodation at Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre has a kitchen for food preparation. Trip Itinerary: 28th October – you will be collected from the Brisbane Airport and transferred to Cleveland to catch the Ferry. With Flight arrangements, please discuss with Chris so you all arrive in Brisbane roughly at the same time. Once you arrive at Clevelend, you will board the Ferry to the Island. Once on the Island a bus will take you to the Dive Centre where you will be allocate your beds for the trip. 29th October to 31st October – will be diving one of Queensland’s most amazing dive sites; 2 dives a day. 1st November – Time to go home - you will do the reverse of the arrival, to catch you flight home. Again, discuss with Chris the flight home. You will need to book at the earliest after 1.00pm to allow 24 hours after your last dive.
