Sailing Bubbles A.S.D., Sailing Bubbles

Sailing Bubbles was born in 2020 from Elisa and Lucio’s idea of joining SCUBA diving and sailing in Sicily.
It’s a concept similar to a diving cruise or liveaboard, yet more intimate. During a week, the sailboat hosts max. 6 guests and sails, pushed by the wind, between a diving destination and the next. The guests live onboard, spending the nights moored in beautiful bays, and dive using the services of trusted local diving centers who provide their logistics to reach the best dive sites.

The project is the result of our respective and different past experiences. Lucio was a PhD, university professor and oceanography researcher in France before he decided to try and make a living out of his passion for sailing and diving. Elisa had been an au pair and farm worker in Australia who traveled much as a backpacker and had then decided to become a scuba diving instructor.
As lovers of the Mediterranean Sea, both above and under the water, we felt the urge to share our passion and knowledge through an original concept, creating an authentic experience of communion with the ocean.
We’re skippers, cooks, and as SCUBA and Freediving instructors we offer our guests the SSI courses - all done onboard with due care and time . Needless to say, we personally guide all the dives.

Our cruises take place from late May to early October and all last 7 days. Depending on the date, we offer three different itineraries around Sicily, trying to focus on Marine Protected Areas.
