Top La Gomera Dive Sites
1. La Cuevita
La Cuevita is a shore-accessible site with a max depth of 22 metres, ideal for divers of all levels. It’s known for its abundant marine life, including moray eels, octopus, and colorful reef fish. It’s also popular for night dives due to the site’s sheltered conditions and lively nocturnal activity.
2. Punta Cascante
Punta Cascante features a shallow reef with a natural tunnel that divers can swim through. Stingrays are frequently seen resting inside the tunnel, along with groupers and bream. This easy dive is great for beginners and intermediate scuba divers looking for unique underwater topography.
3. Roque del Herrero
Roque del Herrero is a dramatic rock pinnacle rising from the seabed. Divers can circle the formation and discover a range of species such as nudibranchs, wrasse, and hiding crustaceans within its many crevices. Best for intermediate-level scuba divers due to its depth and open-water location.
4. Playa Santiago (Freediving possible)
Playa Santiago offers a relaxed freediving and scuba experience along a rocky coastline with gentle slopes and clear visibility. Divers may spot parrotfish, trumpetfish, and rays gliding over the volcanic seabed. Easy conditions and direct beach access make it perfect for training and exploration.
5. El Cabrito
Accessible by boat, El Cabrito features volcanic rock formations and sandy patches, making it suitable for intermediate scuba divers. The site is home to barracuda, garden eels, and the occasional sea turtle. Its remote feel and excellent visibility offer an authentic off-the-beaten-path dive.
拉戈梅拉島最佳潛水月份
由於全年水溫溫暖，介於 18°C 至 24°C 之間，拉戈梅拉島全年都適合潛水。水溫在 19°C 至 22°C 之間，全年能見度極佳，可達 20 至 30 公尺。最佳潛水月份為 4 月至 10 月，此時整體條件最佳；11 月至隔年 1 月為冬季，降雨量也最大，能見度最低。棲息於此的各種海洋生物也全年可見。
