Top Providencia Dive Sites
1. Blue Hole
This site features a sloping reef with brain corals, descending from 18 to 40 meters. Divers often encounter abundant fish species. It is an advanced dive suitable for scuba due to its depth and drop-off, offering impressive underwater formations.
2. Table Rock
An easy dive site ideal for all levels, Table Rock offers shallow caves and vibrant schools of reef fish. Occasionally, divers may spot Nurse Sharks. This site is suitable for both scuba and freediving, providing a diverse underwater experience.
3. Tete’s Place
Featuring a mix of underwater environments like hard coral formations and seagrass beds, Tete's Place is perfect for observing marine life such as Moray Eels. The site is easy and caters to scuba diving, showcasing diverse habitats.
4. Planchon Wreck
This WWII submarine supply shipwreck lies in shallow water, allowing all certified divers to explore. Encrusted with corals and teeming with marine life, divers can admire its structure, though penetration is prohibited. It's an easy, fascinating scuba dive.
5. Freshwater Bay (Freediving Possible)
Located near Providencia, this site is known for its crystal-clear waters and abundant reef fish. Ideal for both scuba and freediving, Freshwater Bay is an easy dive, offering spectacular coral gardens and a relaxed underwater experience.
普羅維登西亞最適合潛水的月份
由於當地氣候屬熱帶，空氣與水溫皆溫暖，因此在普羅維登西亞全年皆可進行潛水活動。氣溫範圍介於 25°C 至 31°C 之間。 水溫介於 27°C 至 29°C 之間，全年溫暖，這無疑是一大優勢！整體而言，該地區的水下能見度高於平均水準，但實際能見度會因潛水地點及天氣狀況而異；不過，平均能見度約在 20 公尺至 30 公尺之間。
