AQUATIC ADVENTURES

Aquatic Adventures in Rowville has been part of the Victorian scuba diving industry since 2000, and at one point was the flagship for a group of 5 stores. The other 4 stores have since gone their own ways, and Aquatic Adventures moved from its original location in Fulham Road, over to Wellington Road, and now to its current location in Viewtech Place. Ollie & Christie took over Aquatic Adventures in early 2018, heralding the start of a more conservation & safety focused approach to diver training, and bringing their Aquaholics dive club in to the fold. Although the company has undergone many changes over the years, one thing remains the same - our dedication to our customers and to the Victorian scuba diving industry as a whole.

One of the main points-of-difference that sets Aquatic Adventures apart from other local dive stores and training centres is our strict adherence to “safer than standards require“ ratios on all our courses and training dives. We operate a policy where we require there to be at least as many professional arms as there are students, meaning at least 1 pro for every 2 students. We have found this creates a more reassuring atmosphere on courses, and also allows for students to concentrate on learning new skills and having fun.

Conservation and ocean protection has become a key part of Aquatic Adventures business, and a major focus for our dive club, the Aquaholics. We have developed a number of programs in-house, aimed at monitoring marine life in our local waters, dealing with marine pests, and assisting in the repopulation of native species in the bay. Equipment is a key factor for every scuba diver, and at Aquatic Adventures we take this very seriously. We have a fully stocked equipment centre, able to service scuba gear, test cylinders, and provide many in-house tuning and refining needs. We also have a stocked showroom, where we sell a wide range of Scuba Diving, Freediving and Technical Diving equipment, all of which we have personally chosen from amongst the huge array offered by our various suppliers. We only choose equipment we would wear/dive and which we feel represents good quality, good value-for-money, and which meet the needs of our local divers.
