Branquias 2.0 Dive Center

More than 25 years ago the “Branquias Diving Centre“ opened its doors in this little village called Carboneras. Everything was still to be done as far as diving was concerned. We were the first centre in the area, and we got down to work: training and environmental awareness. In 2003, due to our claims through the activity of cleaning the seabed and the support of the town council of this municipality, the island of San Andrés was protected, which due to overfishing, was completely depleted. Today, the seabed has nothing to do with how we knew it; it is now a hive of life. The second challenge we set ourselves was to become a reference school in the diving world. Our students, who become our friends, get all the skills they need to feel confident doing all the dives that the courses have, with double the time that SSI marks in the practices. Training is our passion and we take it very seriously.., We have achieved over the years and thanks to our customers a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy diving in a safe and fun way. Nowadays our centre has a very large group of divers, who have known us for many years and continue to choose us for their diving calendar year after year. We are sure that when you come here it will be the same for you. Treatment, seabed and a very friendly fishing village are our secrets.

The island of San Andres Just 5 minutes from the harbour, it is a Natural Monument. This means that fishing is forbidden. The quantity and number of Mediterranean species, the orography and the posidonea meadow make this place a paradise for the practice of this sport. After 25 years of training divers, we can be very proud of this work. We like to see you evolve in all the challenges you meet during the courses. Adventure, technical fun and safety are the concepts we work on.

Our 200 m2 facilities will make you feel very comfortable. Tent, classroom, wet area and changing room. A large wet area to desalinate and leave the equipment hanging. Large changing rooms with showers (3 for girls, 5 for boys). Although our main activity is not dedicated to the sale of material, we do have a small shop with the most basic equipment. However, we can provide you with any MARES product within 24 hours. Spacious and multi-purpose classroom. Enjoy diving with spacious and comfortable facilities!
