Welcome to Tank’d Pro Dive Center. We are a Diamond Instructor Training Center and Extended Range Instructor Training Center located on the beautiful island of Utila.
During your stay on Utila, we would love to share our passion for scuba diving with you. We offer both fun dives, as well as scuba courses. At Tank’d Pro Dive Center, we don’t teach in large groups like other dive centers. Instead, we keep our classes to 4 students or less to offer you a safe and pleasurable experience. We would be delighted to help you achieve all of your scuba goals! We offer every course imaginable from beginner, to professional and even up to technical diving.
All of our staff members include 3 instructors and 2 instructor trainers. This means you are well cared for while diving with us, and we can help you with your individual concerns or needs.
We offer side mount, twinset, rebreather and semi closed rebreather diving instruction and dives. We have experienced instructors and gas blenders to ensure you have everything you need to execute a safe and pleasant dive. We have side mount, twinset, rebreathers and 3L/40cuft/80cuft/100cuft cylinders in our rental department and sell Sofnolime, O2, EANX and TMX.

★★★★☆ Black Hills
Seamound liegt an der südöstlichen Ecke von Utila. Die Spitze des Hügels liegt bei etwa 10 Metern und kann bis zu 40+ Meter abfallen, je nachdem, auf welcher Seite man sich befindet. Die Strömung kann sowohl an der Oberfläche, als auch unter Wasser, stark sein.
★★★★☆ Moon Hole
Moon Hole ist ein großer sandiger Fleck, der von Korallen umgeben ist. Dies ist ein ausgezeichneter Ort für Tarierungstauchgänge oder Open Water ausbildungstauchgänge. Von Moon Hole aus kann man die Korallen bis zum Ron’s Wrack durchqueren.
★★★★☆ Ted's Point
Ted’s Point ist ein beliebter Tauchplatz an der Südseite mit sandigem Grund bei etwa 20m Tiefe. Die nach Osten abfallende Wand hat Tiefen bis über 30m. Die Westseite ist flacher bis auf 20m.
★★★★☆ Raggedy Cay
Raggedy Cay ist eine kleine Insel vor dem Westende von Utila. Etwa 6 Meter unter dem Boot befindet sich ein flacher Boden, der, wenn man die Wand erreicht, allmählich bis auf etwa 40 Meter abfällt. Dies ist ein Steilwandtauchgang, aber schwieriger zu navigieren, da die Anlegestelle weit von der Wand entfernt ist.
★★★★☆ Stingray Point
Gehe über den Sand hinaus zur Wand auf der anderen Seite. Folge ihm etwa 15 Minuten lang, und auf 18 Metern findest du einen großen Riss im Felsen. Er ist etwa 1,5-2,0 Meter breit und etwa 100 Meter lang. Der perfekte Wendepunkt für deinen Tauchgang.
★★★★★ Joshua Swash
derzeit ein Strömungstauchgang; ein Plateau, auf dem poröse Seestäbe, Schwämme und eine Vielzahl von Weichkorallen wachsen. Es gibt Sandkanäle und Durchschwimmstellen, die senkrecht zur Küste verlaufen (45ft). Diese Kanäle fallen sanft bis auf 70 Fuß ab. In Richtung Osten gibt es zwei Sandkanäle, die zwischen 45 Fuß und 15 Fuß tief sind.
★★★★☆ Blackish Point
Seinen Namen verdankt es der großen Population von schwarzen Zackenbarschen, die sich früher in dieser Gegend aufgehalten haben und heute leider nicht mehr hier ist. Es liegt etwa 45 Minuten vom Hauptknotenpunkt entfernt.
★★★★☆ Linda's Wall
Linda’s Wall ist ein Tauchplatz an der Südseite, nicht so bekannt wie andere Tauchplätze. Die Wand hier ist wunderschön und mit einem spektakulären Regenbogen aus Hart- und Weichkorallen bedeckt. Der einfache Zugang macht diesen Tauchplatz zu einem großartigen Tauchziel.
