In Gizo herrschen das ganze Jahr über gute Tauchbedingungen, doch die Monsunzeit dauert von Januar bis April und bringt eine höhere Wahrscheinlichkeit für Regen und windige Tage mit sich. Wenn du kühlere Temperaturen bevorzugst, ist es von Juni bis August etwas weniger feucht als im Rest des Jahres, obwohl die Temperaturen warm bleiben. Mantarochen sind zwischen November und April häufig an den Tauchplätzen von Gizo anzutreffen.
