Kimbe ist die größte Siedlung und Hauptstadt der Provinz West New Britain auf der Insel New Britain in der Inselregion. Die Insel Neubritannien liegt östlich von Papua-Neuguinea. Kimbe wird als Hotspot der Artenvielfalt bezeichnet, und neben dem blühenden Meeresleben gibt es hier auch eine aufregende Sammlung von Wracks aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Bucht ist von Vulkanen und vulkanischen Seebergen umgeben. Da es nur ein einziges Center in der Bucht gibt, können sich Taucher entweder von den erfahrenen Guides zu den besten Tauchplätzen führen lassen, aber es gibt auch Tauchsafaris in dieser Region.

South Bay is great for both scuba and freediving, with an easy adventure level. Known for its turtles and occasional manta ray sightings, the bay's sandy bottom and gentle currents make it accessible to all divers. The area is part of a protected marine park, ensuring a thriving ecosystem.

Ideal for freediving, this site features shallow coral gardens and clear waters, offering a simple adventure. It is home to an array of tropical fish and occasional sea turtles. As part of a marine protected area, Restorf Island provides a serene diving experience with minimal environmental impact.
