Experience your first scuba dive in a truly unique location on Terceira Island. This Try Scuba Diving experience takes place at a real shipwreck within the Underwater Archaeological Park of Angra do Heroísmo.

Designed for beginners with no prior experience, this activity follows SSI (Scuba Schools International) standards, ensuring a safe, structured, and high-quality introduction to the underwater world.

Your experience begins with a clear and simple briefing where your instructor explains the basic diving principles, equipment, and safety procedures. You will then practice key skills in a controlled environment before heading into open water.

The highlight of the experience is a guided dive at the historic Lidador shipwreck, where you will explore a real underwater site surrounded by marine life and volcanic formations. This makes your first dive not just an activity, but a memorable and meaningful experience.

Throughout the dive, you will be closely supervised by an SSI-certified instructor, ensuring comfort, safety, and confidence at all times.
