Beqa Island, dat net ten zuiden van het hoofdeiland Viti Levu van Fiji ligt, is gemakkelijk bereikbaar en is een veelgebruikte bestemming voor diegenen die meteen het water in willen. Duikcentra en duikresorts zijn er in overvloed. Duikers kunnen ook kiezen voor een liveaboard.

Duiken in Beqa Island is het hele jaar door fantastisch, dankzij het sublieme tropische klimaat. De omstandigheden kunnen echter per seizoen iets verschillen. Voor het beste zicht kun je van juli tot september duiken op Beqa Island met de helderste zee, wanneer je een zicht van 20-40 meter kunt verwachten. De watertemperatuur varieert van ongeveer 24°C in juli en augustus tot ongeveer 28°C in februari en maart.
In Beqa Lagoon is het water over het algemeen rustig vanwege de bescherming en de minimale stroming, hoewel er tussen november en januari af en toe deining kan staan.

Featuring a large bommie and a huge tunnel leading to two chambers, this site is adorned with colorful soft corals. It's suitable for advanced scuba diving and offers unique topographical exploration opportunities.
6. Carpet Cove
Known for its abundance of anemones and a Chinese trawler wreck, this site houses electric clams, turtles, and whitetip sharks. It suits advanced scuba divers and features a wreck covered with encrusted corals.
7. Fantasea
