Nordväst om Portofino ligger badorten Nervi i regionen Ligurien i Italien. Orten ligger på en klippa och en slingrande strandpromenad leder ut till Liguriska havet där båtar avgår från Nervis hamn för att besöka den blomstrande Portofino Marine Park. Den skyddade marina parken har branta väggar som sträcker sig över 50 meter, steniga rev och spektakulära grottor som har eroderats in i klippväggen under vattnet.
Dykning i Nervi är möjligt från det enda dykcentret som ligger i den lilla semesterorten, men en kort resa in till Genuas centrum leder till flera andra center som också utforskar de liguriska vraken. När du dyker i Nervi finns det dykkurser för dykare på alla nivåer.

1. Isuela
Isuela offers an exhilarating dive with strong currents at 18 meters deep. Divers can encounter groupers, lobsters, and catsharks. This site is suitable for both recreational and technical scuba divers. The wreck of the 'Mohawk Deer' lies within the area and ranges from 18-50 meters deep.
2. Christ of the Abyss
Located in the Bay of San Fruttuoso, this site features a bronze statue at a depth of 15 meters. It is accessible for scuba diving and is suited for divers of all levels. The site is a tribute to underwater explorer Dario Gonzatti, offering a unique cultural experience.
3. Punta Chiappa
Famous for its steep drop-offs, Punta Chiappa is perfect for scuba divers seeking moderate adventure. The site is rich in marine life, featuring barracudas, moray eels, and octopuses. It's ideal for both scuba and freediving, with its deep and shallow spots.
4. Grotta dell'Eremita
This cave site attracts advanced scuba divers with its intricate formations. The cave harbors colorful sponges and numerous shrimp species. Due to its technical nature, it's recommended for experienced divers only. The site is ideal for those seeking underwater exploration.
5. Capo Mortola
Known for its dramatic underwater landscape, Capo Mortola offers both scuba and freediving opportunities. Divers can encounter a variety of fish species and vibrant corals. The site is generally considered easy, making it accessible for divers of all skill levels.
De bästa månaderna att dyka i Nervi
Dykningssäsongen i Italien är från april till november, med den mest hektiska månaden i augusti då du kan förvänta dig en del folkmassor när du dyker i Portofino Marine Park. Under vintermånaderna, från januari till mars, kan vattentemperaturen sjunka till cirka 15℃ medan under sommarmånaderna, från juli till september, når vattnet som högst cirka 25℃.
