In spring 2021, the premises of the dive centre in the basement of the LABRANDA Riviera Hotel & Spa were renovated and redesigned - the result is now an all-round diver-friendly dive centre in the north of Malta. The German-run diving centre Dive Vision Malta, centrally located between Malta, Comino and Gozo, stands for exciting diving and a relaxed holiday in a family atmosphere. The dive centre itself is located in the basement of the LABRANDA Riviera Hotel & Spa and is just a five-minute drive from one of the top dive sites - Cirkewwa - with its two large wrecks. Directly opposite the dive centre is the small island of Comino with its numerous top dive sites. In addition, the dive sites on the island of Gozo can be reached within fifteen minutes by boat. A must on the diving programme is of course the special trip to the spectacular wreck of the ‘Um El Faroud’. DVM offers both shore and boat dives. The boat season is between May and October. Various lorries and minibuses are available for the beautiful shore dives. The great advantage of DVM’s location is that the base is only a five-minute drive from one of the most famous top dive sites - Cirkewwa - with its two wrecks. At this location we have five different dive sites next to each other: Paradise Bay, Sugar Loaf, Cirkewwa Arch and the MV Rozi and P29 shipwrecks! A visit to Cirkewwa in the afternoon is particularly worthwhile for photographers, as all the other diving centres leave the spot around midday and we can have the shipwrecks almost to ourselves.

The diving centre has its own 2.90 m deep pool for diving and apnoea training and a very spacious reception area with a cosy diving lounge. Snorkelling and diving equipment is for sale in the shop area, and in the photo equipment corner with charging station, underwater photographers can work undisturbed with their cameras and prepare them for diving. The facilities also include a separate compressor room with mixing system and a small technical and service area as well as a separate training room for relaxed learning. Of course, there is also a separate shower and toilet area for the divers. Wash basins and sufficient storage and hanging facilities for diving equipment are available for after-dive care. A special feature is the cosy relaxation room, where courses in progressive muscle relaxation and autogenic training are offered on request.

Facts about the equipment: - Bauer 550 compressor with nitrox mixing system. - 60 compressed air cylinders with mono DIN valves: 7 and 12 litre aluminium cylinders, 10 and 15 litre steel cylinders - 20 complete sets of diving equipment for hire (wetsuits, booties, buoyancy compensators, regulators, dive computers, fins and masks) - 4 pieces of sidemount equipment - 3 underwater scooters

The dive centre has the best location in Malta for shore and boat dives in Malta, Comino and Gozo. Unique to Malta is also the training bay in front of the centre which is perfect for training divers. We also offer a wide range of facilities such as Recreational Side Mount and Scooter / DPV diving and a spacious shop area for diving equipment and beach accessories.
