ナウルを探索
ナウルにはダイビングセンターがいくつかありますが、それほど多くはないため、混雑していないダイビングスポットを独り占めして楽しむことができます。また、太平洋の多くの有名な島々に近いため、ダイブクルーズが島々を巡回しています。
ナウルは、まるで木から突き出た釘のように、水深約500メートルの海底にそびえ立つサンゴ礁の島です。周囲には平坦な潮汐礁が広がり、そこから急激に落ち込み、陸地と太平洋の深淵との境界を形成しています。この海底地形は、息を呑むようなウォールダイビングの舞台となり、果てしなく続くドロップオフが青い深淵へと続いています。特にナウル島の西側、ボートハーバー周辺やカンチレバー周辺には、こうした壮大なウォールダイブサイトが数多く存在します。水温が高く透明度も高いため、ダイバーは水深40メートルからでも水面を昼間のように見ることができるほど、水深の監視が非常に重要です。
さらに、穏やかな海域がないため、海洋生物は特に丈夫で、荒れた海にも耐えることができます。インド太平洋の多様なサンゴ礁魚、素晴らしいサンゴ、エイ、マクロ生物、そしてサンゴ礁の生き物たちに出会えるでしょう。加えて、この外洋でのダイビングは、青い海に潜むあらゆる種類のサメや大型外洋魚たちの遊び場となっています。
ミクロネシア特有の南太平洋らしい風景は少ないものの、アニバレ地区は例外です。ヤシの木が点在する美しい白い砂浜が広がり、スノーケリングやダイビングに十分な深さと透明度を誇る、きらめくターコイズブルーの海に面しています。色鮮やかなサンゴ礁の尖塔には、豊かな海洋生物が生息し、まるで水中のおとぎの国のような光景が広がっているます。

1. Cantilevers
Located in front of the phosphate conveyors, Cantilevers is a site featuring a steep reef wall abundant with fish species. Divers often encounter lobsters, stingrays, and whitetip sharks.
