オーストラル諸島では、一年中ダイビングが楽しめ、季節ごとにユニークなコンディションが見られる。水温は23℃～26℃で、年間を通して快適なダイビングが楽しめる。視界は、天候や海況にもよるが、通常20～30m。 特に6月から8月の冬の間は、風や潮流がダイビングのコンディションに影響を与えることがある。ダイビングは一年中可能だが、この時期は風が強くなり、海が波立つため、視界が悪くなり、より難しいコンディションになる。そのため、9月から5月にかけての時期の方が、水中での冒険には適している。
