コスラエをエクスプローラーする
コスラエは、ミクロネシアのカロリン諸島の隠れた宝石であり、他では体験できないダイビングを提供する。人里離れているため静かな環境が保たれ、ダイバーは誰にも邪魔されることなく、手つかずの自然を探索することができる。紺碧の深度下には険しいアウターリーフがあり、ハードコーラルや海洋生物が印象的に生息している。透明度は30メートルを超えることもあり、優雅なマンタや遊び好きなイルカ、好奇心旺盛なリーフシャークやとらえどころのないウツボなど、魅力的な生物に出会うチャンスが増える。
エクスプローラーは、エキサイティングなショアダイブから、生き生きとしたサンゴ礁から歴史的な沈船まで探検できる船上アドベンチャーまで、さまざまなダイビングを楽しむことができる。コスラエのダイビングスポットには、壊れやすい生態系を保護するためにブイが設置され、手つかずの自然が残されている。スリル満点のドリフトを楽しみたいベテランダイバーも、ダイビングを学びたいビギナーも、地元のダイビングセンターでは、あらゆるレベルに対応したコースを提供している。コスラエでのダイビングは、水中の楽園へのユニークな旅だ。
探検する場所
コスラエでのダイビングのベストシーズン
熱帯性気候のため、水温は28℃前後に保たれ、コスラエでは年間を通してダイビングを楽しむことができる。乾季は5月から10月までで、ダイビングに最適なコンディションとなる。雨季は11月から4月までで、熱帯性豪雨は短時間しか降らない。11月から6月までは東風が吹く。
Top Kosrae Dive Sites
1. Hiroshi Point
Home to coral heads over 2,000 years old, this site hosts eagle rays, snapper, parrotfish, reef sharks, and barracuda. It is an easy shore dive with low currents, suitable for all skill levels. Both scuba and freediving are possible here.
2. Lelu Current
Renowned for its exceptional corals and strong currents, Lelu Current attracts sailfish and other predators. This site is best suited for advanced divers due to challenging conditions, with scuba diving being the primary activity.
3. Walung Coral Shelf
This site features healthy coral and vibrant fish activity, with colder waters attracting large marine creatures. Suitable for both scuba and freediving, it offers an advanced diving experience due to occasional strong currents.
4. Walung Drop-Off
Characterized by dramatic walls, divers here can see barracuda schools, small hammerheads, reef sharks, and turtles. The site is best for advanced scuba divers, offering thrilling underwater landscapes.
5. Malem Reef Shelf
With a wide reef shelf and abundant coral, this site is frequented by numerous fish species, including rare sightings of juvenile whale sharks. It is ideal for both scuba and freediving, catering to divers of all skill levels.
6. Blue Hole off Lelu Causeway
An easy shore dive featuring juvenile fish, stingrays, and pufferfish. Suitable for all skill levels, this site is primarily for scuba diving and offers a relaxed underwater exploration.
