1. Los Chuchos (The Rays)
Los Chuchos is a popular dive site where divers can encounter graceful Atlantic and common stingrays gliding along the seabed. This easy to intermediate-level scuba dive offers sandy plains and mild currents, making it an ideal site for observing large marine species up close.
2. Los Arcos
Los Arcos features a striking collection of volcanic arches, including one soaring 26 metres high. Divers can swim through the formations and discover a memorial to Jacques Cousteau. Suitable for intermediate scuba divers, the site teems with trumpetfish, wrasse, and barracuda.
3. Condesito Wreck
The Condesito is a shallow wreck lying between 9 and 18 metres, making it accessible for beginner to intermediate scuba divers. The remains are covered with marine life such as trumpetfish, cuttlefish, and bream. The wreck offers a safe and scenic introduction to wreck diving.
4. Roncadores del Faro
Roncadores del Faro is a versatile site suitable for everyone—from snorkelers to deep divers. The impressive basalt rock formations and swim-throughs are inhabited by schools of barracuda, trumpetfish, and Canarian lobsters. This dive offers excellent visibility and dramatic geology.
5. El Puertito (Freediving possible)
El Puertito is a tranquil bay ideal for both freedivers and beginner scuba divers. Its calm waters are home to green sea turtles, octopus, and small reef fish. With shallow depths and easy access, it’s a great spot for relaxed exploration and underwater photography.
