リモンはコスタリカの東海岸、カリブ海沿いに位置する州です。この海岸線はあまり開拓されていないため、ダイバーは混雑を避けながら、豊かなサンゴ礁などを探索できます。州の大部分が国立公園によって保護されており、探索すべきダイブサイトも数多くあるため、水中の環境は手つかずの最高の状態です。 さらに、温かく澄んだ水や優れた透明度といった理想的なダイビングコンディションが加わり、ダイバーにとって楽園のような目的地です。ダイビングセンターやダイブリゾートの数はわずかですが、このエリアを十分に探索できる機会は整っています。
ここの気候は年間を通じて快適で、そのおかげで水温は高く、透明度も良好です。水温の変化はわずかで、10月から1月までの雨季で25°C、乾季には最大29°Cまで上がります。雨季は水中の栄養分が増えるため、大型の外洋性生物が引き寄せられます。ここでのハイライトは、レックや長く続く豊かなサンゴ礁、そして豊富な大型海洋生物です。

Isla Uvita

Cahuita National Park

リモンでのダイビングのベストシーズン
コスタリカのカリブ海側に位置するリモンでは、コンディションの変化はあるものの、一年中ダイビングを楽しめます。水温は26°Cから29°Cの範囲で、ダイバーにとって快適な環境です。透明度は季節の変化や天候の影響を受けますが、通常は10メートルから30メートルの範囲です。
12月から4月の乾季は、海が穏やかで透明度も高いため、一般的に最高のダイビングコンディションです。一方、5月から11月の雨季は、降雨量の増加や土砂の流入によって透明度が低下したり、潮流が厳しくなったりと、コンディションに影響が出ることがあります。それでも一年を通じてダイビングは可能ですが、天候のパターンを考慮して計画を立てることで、より充実した体験ができます。
