リモンは、コスタリカの東海岸、カリブ海沿岸に位置する州である。コスタリカの東海岸、カリブ海沿岸に位置し、人混みから逃れながらサンゴ礁の海を探検できる。この州の大部分は国立公園で保護されており、複数のダイビングスポットがあるため、水中環境は手つかずの状態にある。さらに、暖かくて透明度の高い海という理想的なダイビング・コンディションも加わり、ダイバーにとってはパラダイスのようなダイビング・スポットとなる。ダイビングセンターやダイビングリゾートは少ないが、このエリアを探検するチャンスは十分にある。
この地域の気候は年間を通じて快適で、その結果、水温は暖かく、視界は良好である。水温は、10月から1月までの雨季には25℃、乾季には29℃までしか変化しない。雨季には水中の栄養分が増えるため、大型の外洋性生物が集まる。難破船、長く続くサンゴ礁、豊富な大型海洋生物などが見どころだ。

リモン・ダイビングのベストシーズン
コスタリカのカリブ海沿岸に位置するリモンは、コンディションは異なるが、年間を通じてダイビングの機会を提供している。水温は26℃～29℃で、ダイバーに快適な環境を提供している。視界は通常10～30メートルで、季節の変化や天候に左右される。
12月から4月の乾季は、一般的に海が穏やかで透明度が高く、最高のダイビングコンディションとなる。しかし、5月から11月にかけての雨季は、雨量が増えたり、可能性のある流出水が増えたりするため、視界が悪くなったり、流れが厳しくなったりして、ダイビングのコンディションに影響を与えることがある。このような状況にもかかわらず、ダイビングは年間を通して可能である。
