セント・アン教区はジャマイカ島で最大の教区です。北海岸の中央に位置するミドルセックス郡にあり、その海岸はカリブ海に面しています。セント・アン教区内で観光客がダイビングに訪れる主要な2つのエリアは、オーチョ・リオスとランナウェイ・ベイです。これら2つの人気ビーチタウンは、あらゆるレベルや興味のダイバーに対応する、素晴らしいダイブサイトへの玄関口となっています。 ジャマイカは熱帯カリブ海に位置しているため、年間を通じてダイビングが可能ですが、6月から9月にかけてが最も良好なコンディションです。10月から5月は雨の確率が高くなりますが、ダイビングに影響を与えることはほとんどありません。年間を通じて気温が暖かいため、水温は26〜28℃の間で安定しています。透視度は全体的に素晴らしく、平均25メートル、ダイビングのピークシーズンには35メートルを超えることもあります。 ここでの注目のダイブサイトには、SSキャサリン（SS Kathryn）と呼ばれる掃海艇のレックや2機の飛行機のレック、色彩豊かなリーフ、深いキャニオン（岩礁の裂け目）、そしてさまざまな深さに点在する岩石構造などがあります。ダイブサイトへは短いボートトリップで簡単にアクセスでき、一般的に海況は穏やかで、透明度が高く、温かいのが特徴です。

Top St Ann Dive Sites
1. SS Katheryn Wreck
This site features a Canadian minesweeper sunk in 1980, forming an impressive artificial reef. It's teeming with colorful corals and diverse marine life, including schools of fish. Suitable for scuba diving, it offers an easy to moderate adventure level due to its depth and currents.
2. Planes
Home to two plane wrecks at a 23-meter drop-off, this site offers exploration of cockpits and sightings of sea turtles. It's an advanced scuba dive due to depth and potential strong currents. The unique wrecks and marine life make it a diver's favorite.
3. The Mountains
Featuring two sea mounts between 18 and 36 meters, this site is adorned with colorful corals and sea sponges. Divers can enjoy the vibrant marine life in this easy to moderate scuba dive. The site is known for its rich biodiversity.
4. Devil's Reef
A reef slope descending from 19 to 40 meters, it offers numerous cracks and crevices housing marine species. This advanced scuba diving site challenges divers with its depth and complex topography, rewarding them with diverse underwater life.
5. Fantasy Reef (Freediving Possible)
Located within a marine park, this site allows both scuba and freediving. Its shallow reefs are home to vibrant corals and small tropical fish, making it an easy dive. The protected area ensures a pristine underwater experience.

ジャマイカのセント・アンは、年間を通じて素晴らしいダイビングコンディションを提供しており、水温は通常、冬の26℃から夏の約29℃の範囲です。これにより、1年を通じてダイビングが可能であり、温かい海を求めるダイバーにとって魅力的な場所です。
セント・アンの透視度は通常15〜30メートルですが、天候の影響を受けることがあります。6月から11月までのハリケーンシーズンは、風や流れが強くなる可能性があり、ダイビングのコンディションとしてはあまり良くありません。この時期を除けば、穏やかな海と温暖な気候に恵まれ、理想的なダイビングコンディションとなります。
