シチリア島の火山地帯でのダイビングは、年間を通して魅力的な水中景観を提供している。地中海性気候のため、水面温度は14℃～26℃と暖かい。ダイビングは年間を通して可能だが、ベストコンディションは5月から10月。この時期は水温も快適で、天候も安定している。一方、冬場は風や潮流が強くなり、視界が悪くなったり、アクセスしにくいポイントもある。このようなコンディションを考慮してダイビングツアーを計画すると、シチリアならではの水中環境をより楽しむことができる。
