ジャマイカのウェストモアランドは、年間を通じて良好なダイビング条件に恵まれており、ダイバーにとって魅力的な目的地となっている。水温は、涼しい時期の26°C/79°Fから暖かい時期の約29°C/84°Fまでで、一年を通して快適なダイビング体験が保証されている。 視界は概して非常に良く、特に海岸から離れた海域では30メートル/98フィートを超えることも多い。
ダイビングは一年中可能だが、ダイバーは6月から11月にかけてのハリケーンシーズンには注意が必要だ。この期間中は、風や海流が予測不能になり、ダイビングのコンディションに影響を及ぼすことがある。しかし、これらの月であっても、天候が穏やかな期間がよく見られる。 一般的に、最高のダイビングコンディションは12月から5月にかけてだ。この時期は海が穏やかで天候も安定しており、Underwater Worldを探索するのに理想的な条件となる。
