If you’re already a certified diver, you’ll find unique underwater experiences in Sagres, guided by our Dive Guides who will show you the best each dive site has to offer. Our SSI Dive Center & School is located right in front of our Pura Vida Hostel. Enjoy your breakfast while our team prepares the tanks and your gear on the center’s porch. Join your Divemaster or Instructor for a detailed briefing on the activities and dive outings, then head off on your adventure. After a full day of diving, relax in our cozy facilities, unwind in a hammock, and join us for a barbecue. A good night’s sleep — and the next day, there’s more to come

Sagres is a place full of diving adventures: famous caves like “The Cathedral,” breathtaking swim-throughs like “The Crossroads,” World War I wrecks, coral reefs, and archaeological sites. All of these spots offer fantastic opportunities for underwater photography and unforgettable diving experiences — whether from a boat, the shore, or a kayak — Ecodiving. We also offer weekly dive trips to the latest sunken ships from the Portuguese Navy fleet, part of the Ocean Revival project. At Martinhal Beach, just a short walk from the Pura Vida Divehouse, you’ll find our “house reef,” a dive site that feels like the Caribbean. Whether you’re just beginning your diving adventure or a certified diver looking for a relaxing dive, this is the perfect spot. All dive trips include a tank and weight belt.
