The Silbersee, located to the west of Villach in the immediate vicinity of the Drava River, is an artificial body of water that was created in the 1970s by gravel extraction in the groundwater area. In the eastern part of the lake there is a platform and on the southern side there is the restaurant “Silbersee Ranch.“
