ギゾ島には、ソロモン諸島西部州の州都ギゾがある。ニュージョージア諸島に属し、ギゾ島のダイビングスポットでは、第二次世界大戦時の沈船（レックダイビング）、多数の沖合リーフ、急降下する壁、水面下の豊富な海洋生物などを見ることができる。ギゾ島でのダイビングは、陸にある唯一のダイブセンターか、最高のポイントを求めてこの地域を航行するライブボートから行われる。

ギゾ島ダイビングのベストシーズン
ギゾ島でのスクーバダイビングは年間を通して可能である。しかし、1月から4月までのモンスーンシーズンは、雨や風の強い日が多くなる。6月から8月にかけては、気温はまだ暖かく湿度も高いが、他の時期に比べるとやや涼しい。水温は年間を通して27℃～31℃と快適だ。マンタが最もよく見られるのは11月から4月である。

3. Grand Central Station
Known for its incredible biodiversity, Grand Central Station boasts over 270 fish species on a single tank dive, including sharks, trevally, and batfish. Suitable for advanced scuba divers, this site is where currents merge, providing a thrilling and dynamic diving experience.
4. Plum Pudding Island (Freediving Possible)
Plum Pudding Island offers both scuba and freediving opportunities. The site is teeming with coral gardens and small reef fish. It's suitable for easy-level divers, providing a serene and colorful underwater experience ideal for those seeking a less challenging dive.
5. Kennedy Island (Freediving Possible)
Located near Ghizo, Kennedy Island is a picturesque site for both scuba and freediving. Known for its vibrant coral formations and an abundance of small marine life, it offers easy diving conditions, making it perfect for beginners and those looking to enjoy a relaxed dive.
