ペンバ・ノースウェストでは、水温が25℃～30℃と年間を通してダイビングが楽しめる。透明度も高く、30mを超えることもあるため、透明度の高い水中を楽しみたいダイバーに最適だ。この地域は見事なサンゴ礁と豊富な海洋生物で知られ、世界中のダイバーを魅了している。

ダイビングは1年を通して可能であるが、海が穏やかで透明度が最も高くなる11月から3月がベストコンディションである。4月から10月は風と潮流が強くなり、5月と6月は雨が多くなり海が荒れるため、あまり好ましくない。ダイバーは、ペンバ北西部が提供する最高のものを楽しむために旅行を計画する際に、これらの要因を考慮すべきである。
