바벨다오브를 탐험하세요
미크로네시아 팔라우 공화국의 최대 섬인 바벨다오브에는 수도 응게룰무드가 있으며, 초보자부터 고급 다이버까지 모든 수준의 다이버들에게 무궁무진한 기회를 제공합니다. 이곳에서는 초급 자격증 과정은 물론 심해 및 난파선 전문 과정까지 다양한 다이빙 코스를 제공하며, 다채로운 경험을 선사하는 수많은 다이빙 포인트가 있습니다. 또한, 바벨다오브에서 다리로 쉽게 이동할 수 있는 코로르에는 대부분의 다이빙 센터와 리조트가 있으며, 더욱 흥미로운 다이빙 포인트들이 있습니다. 인기 있는 다이빙 포인트들은 코로르에서 보트로 45~60분 거리에 있으며, 대부분의 다이빙은 록 아일랜드, 펠레이우, 응게멜리스 주변에서 이루어집니다.
섬 남쪽의 산호초 지대에 위치한 주요 다이빙 포인트로는 급경사 절벽, 제2차 세계 대전 난파선, 그리고 잔잔한 산호초 등이 있습니다. 바벨다오브 섬에서는 팔라우 어디든 쉽게 이동할 수 있으며, 다양한 다이빙을 즐길 수 있습니다. 연중 내내 이용 가능한 육상 기반 다이빙 업체들이 많지만, 팔라우의 대부분을 탐험하고 싶은 다이버들에게는 라이브어보드(숙박형 다이빙 보트)도 좋은 선택입니다.
바벨다오브에서 다이빙하기 가장 좋은 달
팔라우는 전반적으로 열대 우림 지역이지만, 대부분의 비는 밤에 내립니다. 바벨다오브 섬과 주변 섬에서는 기온 변화가 거의 없어 연중 스쿠버 다이빙을 즐길 수 있습니다. 2월과 3월에는 비가 가장 적게 내리고, 6월부터 8월까지는 강수량이 가장 많습니다. 최적의 다이빙 조건을 위해서는 9월부터 5월까지 방문하는 것이 좋습니다.
