Pressure Junkies Scuba (PJS) was founded as a club in 2020 (unofficially) during the week of Hurricane Laura by 2 highly ambitious divers. One, a U.S. Army Veteran who got into scuba diving through Commercial Diving in the Gulf of Mexico and the other, an Indonesian Woman, a travel connoisseur who enjoys traveling and thus created her own travel agency. Exactly one year later, PJS was officially commissioned as a dive club and began offering dive trips to the public. PJS was created to provide a robust dive community that was non-judgmental, yet still fun and informative for everyone. After an uphill battle to fill a void in the LA market, we became an SSI Dive School, and now offer diving services of most kinds. See what we offer below:
We are owned and operated by a U.S. Army Veteran and Asian (Indonesian) Woman. With our staff’s combined experience, we offer next-level training to divers of most all levels, creating the next generation of diving enthusiasts and professionals for an affordable cost. Being that we are veteran owned, we also will be offering special course offerings in the near future. De Homestead Crater ontstond toen de smeltende sneeuw op de Wasatch Mountains diep in de aarde sijpelde. Twee mijl onder het oppervlak verwarmde de aarde het water. Terwijl het naar boven sijpelde, nam het mineralen op, die vervolgens op het oppervlak werden afgezet.
Deze duiklocatie is eigendom van de stad Santa Rosa en vereist een duikvergunning die ter plaatse is verkregen. De maximale diepte is 81 voet en het is een hoogte-duik.
Stillhouse Hollow Lake ligt in het centrum van Texas en is het hele jaar geopend. Stillhouse Park is een gemakkelijke oeverduik en populair bij de lokale bevolking. Er is een duikwinkel in de jachthaven aan de noordkant van het meer waardoor het vullen van de lucht gemakkelijk is. Het zicht is meestal 5-15 ft.
De Scuba Ranch, voorheen bekend als Clear Springs Scuba Park, is geopend op 15 juni 2001. Wij zijn een familiebedrijf en bieden een meer van 22 acre aan dat gevoed wordt door een bron en dat een van de mooiste, natuurlijke habitats heeft van een zoetwatermeer in Texas.
Stetson Bank, gelegen aan het meest westelijke uiteinde van het heiligdom, is een langwerpige, middenhellingbank van opgeworpen siltsteen en kleisteen. Het werd aan het reservaat toegevoegd toen het Congres in 1996 de National Marine Sanctuaries Act opnieuw goedkeurde.
Het wrak van de Kraken ligt 58 zeemijlen van Galveston, TX in de Golf van Mexico. Op 20 januari 2017 heeft Texas Parks and Wildlife's Ship-to-Reef programma het 371-voet vrachtschip met succes tot zinken gebracht. De rifsite, aangeduid als HI-A-424, omvat een gebied van 80 acres om buiten de directe feature te verkennen.
De Oriskany ligt rechtop op de zeebodem in een noord-zuid oriëntatie met de boeg naar het zuiden gericht.De bovenste structuur van de Oriskany bevindt zich op: Breedtegraad 30 graden 2 minuten 33,3 seconden noord (Lat 30° 2.555' N) Lengtegraad 87 graden 0 minuten 23,8 seconden west.
