Verken Gizo
Gizo ligt op het eiland Ghizo en is de hoofdstad van de westelijke provincie van de Salomonseilanden. Duiken in Gizo is het hele jaar door goed, maar het moessonseizoen loopt van januari tot april en brengt een grotere kans op regen en winderige dagen met zich mee. Als je de voorkeur geeft aan koelere temperaturen, dan is juni tot en met augustus iets minder vochtig dan de rest van het jaar, hoewel de temperaturen warm blijven. Mantaroggen frequenteren de duikstekken van Gizo tussen november en april.
