Verken Kimbe

Kimbe is de grootste nederzetting en hoofdstad van de provincie West New Britain op New Britain Island in de Eilandenregio. New Britain Island ligt ten oosten van Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea. Kimbe wordt beschreven als een hotspot voor biodiversiteit en naast het bloeiende zeeleven is er ook een spannende verzameling wrakken uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De baai wordt omringd door vulkanen en vulkanische onderzeese bergen. 4. South Bay

South Bay is great for both scuba and freediving, with an easy adventure level. Known for its turtles and occasional manta ray sightings, the bay's sandy bottom and gentle currents make it accessible to all divers. The area is part of a protected marine park, ensuring a thriving ecosystem.

5. Restorf Island

Ideal for freediving, this site features shallow coral gardens and clear waters, offering a simple adventure. It is home to an array of tropical fish and occasional sea turtles.
