Verken Tobacco Caye
Tobacco Caye is een klein eiland dat ongeveer 15 kilometer uit de oostkust van Belize ligt, in het Stann Creek District, in de Caribische Zee. Het eiland is in totaal 3 hectare groot, maar onder water zijn de mariene milieus enorm. Duikers kunnen deze wateren verkennen vanuit duikcentra op het vasteland of vanuit het ene duikcentrum op het eiland. Het ligt vlak bij het Belize Barrier Reef en er zijn buitengewone kantduiken, bootduiken en duikcursussen. Onder water kunnen duikers een buitengewone verzameling zeemilieus en zeeleven zien, waaronder zeeschildpadden en roggen.

Door het warme, tropische klimaat kun je het hele jaar door duiken bij Glover's Reef Atoll. De luchttemperaturen variëren hier van 21°C in de winter tot 30°C in de zomer. De watertemperaturen variëren tussen 26°C en 30°C; aangenaam warm. Het natte seizoen loopt van augustus tot oktober, maar de buien zijn kort en hebben geen invloed op het duiken. Het zicht is hier gemiddeld 30 meter.
