A nord-ovest di Portofino, la località balneare di Nervi si trova nella regione Liguria. Situata su una scogliera, una tortuosa passeggiata si dirige verso il Mar Ligure dove dal porto di Nervi partono le barche per visitare il fiorente Parco Marino di Portofino. Il parco marino protetto presenta pareti scoscese che si estendono per oltre 50 metri, scogliere rocciose e spettacolari grotte erose nella parete rocciosa sottomarina.
Le immersioni a Nervi sono possibili presso l'unico centro di immersione situato nella piccola località turistica, ma basta un breve viaggio nel centro di Genova per trovare molti altri centri che esplorano anche i relitti liguri. I migliori mesi per immergersi a Nervi
La stagione delle immersioni in Italia va da aprile a novembre, e il mese più affollato è agosto, dove puoi aspettarti un po' di folla durante le immersioni nel Parco Marino di Portofino. Nei mesi invernali, da gennaio a marzo, la temperatura dell'acqua può scendere fino a circa 15℃ mentre nei mesi estivi, da luglio a settembre, l'acqua raggiunge un massimo di circa 25℃.
