ヒン・デーンをエクスプローラーする

ヒン・デーン（赤い岩）はプーケットの南に位置し、アンダマン海のムーランタ国立海洋公園内にある。岩礁に覆われた巨大な水中岩礁で、水深70m付近まで緩やかに傾斜している。

兄弟ダイブサイトであるヒンムアン（パープルロック）のすぐそばに位置するこの2つのダイブサイトは、通常、日帰り旅行の一部として一緒に訪れることが多い。人里離れた外洋にあるため、ボートでしかアクセスできない。潮の流れや波、天候によってダイビングが難しくなることもあるため、アドバンスド・ダイバーに向いている。

エキサイティングな天候と海のコンディションは、マンタ、ジンベエザメ、その他多くの大型魚にとって理想的な餌場となっている。しかし、この象徴的なスポットにダイバーを惹きつけるのは、穏やかな巨人に出会える可能性だけではない。ヒン・デーンとムアンは、ドラマチックな岩の造形と、非常に多くの見事なサンゴ礁の魚や群れを誇る。

プーケットやランタ島、さらにはピピ諸島に拠点を置くオペレーターなど、さまざまな島の多くのダイビングセンターやダイビングリゾートが、ヒン・デーンやムアンへのツアーを提供している。また、シミラン諸島やリチェリューロックを含むタイ西海岸や、ピピ諸島やハー島などタイ南部のベストスポットを巡る短時間のツアーもある。

適切なトレーニング条件により、ヒン・デーンでのダイビングコース、特にアドバンスドコース、ドリフト、ディープスペシャルティ（DIVE）を受講することも可能である。

Top Hin Daeng Dive Sites

1. Hin Daeng

Hin Daeng, or “Red Rock,” is famed for its deep walls covered in soft red corals. Advanced scuba divers often encounter manta rays, barracuda, and even whale sharks. The site plunges to 60m, offering thrilling drift dives in open water with excellent visibility.

2. Hin Muang

Located near Hin Daeng, Hin Muang (“Purple Rock”) is blanketed in violet soft corals and features a long ridge teeming with moray eels, reef sharks, and schooling trevallies. This is an advanced scuba dive due to strong currents and depths beyond 30m.

3. Koh Haa Lagoon – Freediving possible

Koh Haa’s calm central lagoon is ideal for easy scuba and freediving. It features clear, shallow waters home to lionfish, clownfish, and vibrant coral gardens. Great for beginners, it also offers a stunning night dive with bio-luminescence and hunting cuttlefish.

4. Koh Haa Cathedral

This cavern-like site features dramatic swim-throughs and an underwater cave that filters sunlight into beams. Suitable for intermediate scuba divers, it’s home to glassfish, scorpionfish, and occasional leopard sharks. A must-see for unique topography lovers.

5. Koh Rok Nok

This site offers easy to moderate scuba and freediving with healthy hard corals, sea turtles, and macro life like nudibranchs. Calm conditions make it ideal for all levels. The surrounding area is part of a marine park, ensuring rich biodiversity and reef protection.

ダイビングに最適な月

ヒンデーンとヒンムアンのダイビングは年間を通して可能で、水温は27～30℃前後と暖かい。ダイビングのベストシーズンは、天候と海のコンディションが安定している11月～4月である。 5月～10月の雨季は海が荒れやすくなる。 穏やかな日もあるが、この時期の天候は不安定である。

透明度は年間を通して良く、20～30mの間である。マンタやジンベエザメを見つけるのに最適な時期は2月から4月で、この時期は水面のコンディションも穏やかで、12月から1月の混雑期をはるかに超えている。
