Welcome to Divers Club Azores, an owner-run MARES/SSI Dive Centre located directly at the wavebreakers of the historic harbour of Lajes do Pico, once the island’s main whaling port and today a hub for whale watching and ocean exploration.

We operate with a boutique philosophy, focusing on refined small-group experiences, personalised service, and authentic connections to the ocean and island life. Rather than mass tourism, we offer a carefully curated portfolio of activities designed around each guest’s interests, experience level, and comfort.

Our portfolio includes shore diving, SSI training programmes, offshore expeditions to iconic sites such as Princess Alice Bank and Condor Bank, freediving experiences, bait ball encounters, snorkelling adventures, and ecology courses designed for both divers and non-divers wishing to deepen their understanding of the Atlantic ecosystem and marine life. Beyond the water, guests may also explore Pico through sunset zodiac cruises, guided day tours, and scooter rental.
