There are very few businesses that can say the following: “We love what we do!” Diving isn’t just a sport; it’s a passion and a way of life. When we go to work, we do so because it’s something that calls to us. Diving is a calling; we couldn’t do without it. Every member of our staff will tell you that there are certain people that work as a means to an end and then there are those who dedicate every part of their being to what they love: East Coast Divers is comprised of the latter. It is this enthusiasm and passion that creates the atmosphere that surrounds our facility. Not surprisingly we often hear the same thing from new customers entering our store: "You’re like a family, you all seem to get on so well and have so much fun”. Diving is contagious and we believe we need to be enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about what we do and, at the same time, actively engaged. We are proud to say that we are New England’s most active dive shop. We are out there, actually diving, doing the things that our divers want to do and desire to join.

Our greatest sense of pride comes from our instructional program. When diving first started, it was based on the military training that the first divers had to go through. As society changed, instructional methodology also changed. What resulted was a fast food approach to diving instruction that most dive centers use today. “Get them in, get them out and get them done”. The industry calls this the “fill the funnel” approach to student acquisition. We are 100% proud to say that we entirely disagree with this philosophy. At other dive centers you can become certified, at ECD you can become a diver. What is the difference, you may ask? Comfort, confidence, and a desire to explore the unknown, is the answer. ECD has developed a program like no other in the area, perhaps even the country. Our instructional courses are dedicated to the customer and our philosophy is that a student should grow to love the sport as much as our staff does. With this understanding, our dive staff goes above and beyond on a daily basis to give our customers the most exceptional experience that we can offer.

Why East Coast Divers? East Coast Divers is dedicated to offering our customers the best in quality instruction, products and services. As the largest and most diverse dive retailer in Massachusetts, we are able to offer you excellent prices on the best equipment available. Our staff carefully field tests everything we sell for quality, value and dependability before we offer it to you, our valued customer. This process allows us to stand behind everything we sell. Gear Questions? When it's time to put your dream gear package together, or just look into a new dive computer.. any one of our experienced staff will be happy to make an appointment with you to assure individualized attention. We are more than happy to help you select the equipment that will accommodate your wants as well as your diving needs. ECD Rent to own Program Make any purchase greater than $1500.00 and pay at least 50% at time of purchase. Then, every time you rent, the cost of the rental comes off the remaining balance. You can pay off as quick as you want. There is never any interest and as soon as the gear is fully paid off you receive your brand new gear.

Puntos de Inmersión Afiliados

Theodore G. (#2866039)

★★★★☆ Back Beach

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

★★★★☆ Old Garden Beach
