Explora la Bahía de Drake
Bahía Drake es una pequeña bahía situada en el lado del océano Pacífico de Costa Rica, al sur de la provincia de Puntarenas. Esta bahía ofrece una variedad de oportunidades de buceo llenas de topografía interesante, abundancia de vida marina y todo ello con unas condiciones de buceo agradables, ¡durante todo el año! Cuenta con algunas de las mejores inmersiones de Costa Rica y otra ventaja es que sigue siendo una zona menos explorada, por lo que es perfecta para los buceadores que quieren alejarse de las multitudes y experimentar la naturaleza en su máxima expresión. Aguas cálidas de color turquesa, arrecifes florecientes y muchas especies marinas, éste es un destino de buceo espectacular.

1. Cano Island

This site is ideal for advanced divers, featuring exciting rock formations and canyons. Expect to encounter large schools of Jacks, Snappers, and sometimes White Tip Reef Sharks. The site is primarily for scuba diving due to its technical nature.
3. Paradise
A site suitable for divers of all levels, Paradise offers a lush underwater environment with diverse marine life. Scuba diving here allows exploration of beautiful coral formations. Freediving is also possible, offering a serene experience.
4. Sunken Ship
This site features a fascinating wreck that attracts a variety of marine species. It is best suited for advanced divers due to the depth and structure of the wreck. Scuba diving is recommended to fully explore the site.
5. Shark Ledge
Known for frequent shark sightings, Shark Ledge offers thrilling encounters with marine life. Suitable for scuba diving, it is an advanced site due to strong currents and varying depths. The area is a significant ecological zone within the marine park.
Los mejores meses para bucear en Bahía Drake
Se puede bucear en la Bahía de Drake durante todo el año, ya que las condiciones son agradables durante todo el año. La temperatura del agua oscila entre los 24°C en la estación lluviosa, que va de mayo a noviembre, y los 28°C en la estación seca. La estación lluviosa suele implicar sólo algunos chaparrones por la tarde, por lo que no afecta al buceo con frecuencia. La visibilidad aquí oscila entre 10 y 30 metros.
Las ballenas jorobadas migran por aquí estacionalmente; de enero a marzo.
