La bahía de Tomini alberga las islas Togian, un archipiélago de 56 islas famosas por sus aguas transparentes, su arena blanca y sus bosques tropicales. Bajo la superficie se encuentran lugares con desniveles de hasta 400 metros, pináculos repletos de vida marina y restos intactos de aviones de la II Guerra Mundial listos para ser descubiertos. Mientras buceas en las islas Togian (a veces deletreadas Togean), tienes la oportunidad de ver bancos de tiburones martillo, que encabezan la lista de deseos de muchos buceadores. Para acceder a las remotas aguas de Togian, puedes alojarte en un centro de buceo, pero debido a su ubicación, lo mejor es explorar las profundidades desde los barcos que las visitan.
