The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Course is conducted at Barbarian Diving in Los Cristianos, South Tenerife, and is designed to develop the awareness, confidence, and practical skills required to prevent and manage diving emergencies. The program combines academic sessions, confined water skill development, and realistic open water rescue scenarios, all delivered according to official SSI standards and under the direct supervision of certified professional instructors.
Training is carried out in small groups to ensure close supervision, effective learning, and maximum safety throughout the course. All necessary rescue and diving equipment is included and professionally prepared and managed by our team.
Course scheduling may be adapted depending on sea conditions and weather, always prioritizing diver safety and optimal training quality. Instruction is available in English and Spanish, with other languages potentially offered upon request.
Participants can expect a supportive, professional, and safety-focused environment that encourages confidence, teamwork, and calm problem-solving. By the end of the program, divers will be better prepared to recognize stress, assist other divers, and respond effectively to emergency situations while earning their internationally recognized SSI Rescue certification.
