Yax chen means green pond in Mayan. Open cenote of the Ox Bel Ha system. On average 5-7 mets deep, the bottom composed of tiny shells, sediment and algae is very sensitive. Large boulders allow for areas where you can stand. With rain the tanic acid creates a colorful thermocline on the surface.
