Outside The Asylum Diving & Travel was founded by Morad Hassan & Jeanne Cinquegrana in 2012 offering travel to the Red Sea. The husband & wife team spent years guiding and teaching SCUBA in Sharm el Sheikh- home to some of the most amazing diving on the planet. They returned to the US in 2015 and opened their full service Dive Center on Houston’s west side- teaching locals to dive and travel like a pro! They specialize in dive travel to the Red Sea and other exotic locales like the Philippines & French Polynesia.

We offer a wide range of SSI Courses and are dedicated to keeping it FUN and easy! Need a class in a hurry? No problem- we’ve got a range of private class offerings and we have the full time instructor staff to make it happen. The mask you bought from us doesn’t fit right? No problem - we offer all our students our Perfect Fit Guarantee so we’ll get you in the gear that works best for you! We have a solution to every issue so you can relax and enjoy the water!
We put the FUN back in Scuba Training and make it easy for our guests to relax and focus on their course by keeping class sizes small and employing the best instructors in Texas!

We have a wide range of local dive activities as well as exotic international trips so you have many opportunities to meet like minded Divers and make new Dive Buddies right here in Texas or on one of our exciting trips!

We have a full suite of SCUBA rental gear and we service almost all Scuba gear in house with our team of highly trained and experienced Service Technicians so you can dive with confidence when your gear is serviced at Outside The Asylum Diving & Travel.
