Top Panglao Dive Sites

1. Doljo Point

Doljo Point is a vibrant site suitable for all divers, featuring walls adorned with gorgonian sea fans, bucket sponges, and brain corals. Divers can encounter reef fish, tuna, reef sharks, and barracudas. Advanced divers may spot hammerheads, manta rays, and whale sharks. Both scuba and freediving are possible here.

2. Habagat Wreck

This small wreck at 35 meters is ideal for advanced divers. The dive ascends a sloping wall with caves home to eels and groupers. Use a torch for cave exploration. The site is technical, with scuba diving as the primary activity. Watch your no-decompression limit.

3. Kalipayan

Kalipayan offers a wall dive with sandy areas and artefacts, making it perfect for night dives. Divers often see lionfish, batfish, nudibranchs, and ghost pipefish. Suitable for easy to moderate scuba diving, this site is rich in marine life, especially for macro enthusiasts.

4. Bohol Beach Club (BBC)

The BBC site features a sloped wall with caves and two jeepney wrecks covered in corals. Macro creatures and camouflaged species are highlights here, making it ideal for macro photographers. Scuba diving is preferred, with easy to moderate adventure levels.

5. Arco Point

Arco Point, known as "Hole in the Wall," features a swim-through tunnel at 18 meters. Divers encounter morays, sea snakes, frogfish, and scorpionfish. Some currents can be strong, making it suitable for moderately experienced scuba divers. The site is renowned for its unique underwater formations.
