Tutustu Ischiaan
Napolinlahden pohjoisosassa Italiassa sijaitseva lumoava Ischian saari on osa merensuojelualuetta, joka tunnetaan nimellä "Neptunuksen kuningaskunta". Ischian sukellus tapahtuu Tyrrhenanmerellä, ja sille ovat ominaisia kolossaaliset muurit ja muinaiset kreikkalaiset hylyt, joissa aikoinaan kerrottiin kansanperinnettä ja käytiin taisteluita.
Ischian saarella voi sukeltaa muutamasta saarella sijaitsevasta sukelluskeskuksesta sekä joistakin Campanian alueen mantereella, Napolin lähellä sijaitsevista sukelluskeskuksista. Useimmat sukelluskeskukset tarjoavat sukelluskursseja kaikille tasoille sekä päiväretkiä joihinkin Ischian uskomattomiin sukelluskohteisiin.

1. Secca delle Formiche
This site is perfect for scuba divers and underwater photographers, featuring vibrant gorgonians and schools of iridescent fish. It's suitable for intermediate divers due to the series of underwater canyons and caves. The area is known for its breathtaking underwater landscapes.
2. Mitigliano
Ideal for both beginners and experienced divers, this site offers easy cavern diving adorned with colorful coral walls. The marine life includes a myriad of fish species, making it an excellent spot for underwater photography. It's suitable for scuba diving and offers a unique, serene experience.
3. Monte Sant'Angelo
Scuba divers can explore this advanced site to witness rare black coral. The adventure level is higher due to the depth and unique marine life. While primarily a scuba site, the diverse underwater landscape provides an exciting challenge for seasoned divers.
4. Punta Campanella
This site offers easy diving in calm waters, featuring ancient Roman and Greek shipwrecks that serve as artificial reefs. It's a rich habitat for anthias, amberjacks, and tuna. Suitable for scuba diving, it holds historical significance and ecological importance as a marine protected area.
5. Aragonese Castle
Suitable for both scuba and freediving, this site presents an easy adventure level. Divers can explore underwater volcanic formations and enjoy encounters with octopuses and moray eels. The site is known for its clear waters and impressive marine biodiversity.
Parhaat kuukaudet sukeltaa Ischiassa
Veden lämpötila Ischian sukelluksen aikana vaihtelee vuodenajasta riippuen 15 ℃ ja 26 ℃ välillä. Ischian sukelluskausi kestää huhtikuusta marraskuuhun, ja parhaat kuukaudet sukeltamiseen ovat kesä- ja elokuu. Kesälomien huippukauden ulkopuolella sukellettaessa vedet ovat rauhallisemmat, ja vaikka jotkut sukelluskeskukset suljetaan sesongin ulkopuolella, jotkut keskukset ovat avoinna ympäri vuoden.
