Portofinosta luoteeseen, Italian Ligurian alueella, sijaitsee Nervin rantalomakohde. Jyrkänteellä sijaitseva mutkitteleva rantakatu johtaa Ligurianmerelle, jossa Nervin satamasta lähtee veneitä, joilla pääsee vierailemaan kukoistavaan Portofinon meripuistoon. Suojellussa meripuistossa on jyrkkiä seinämiä, jotka ulottuvat yli 50 metrin korkeuteen, kivikkoisia riuttoja ja upeita luolia, jotka on syöpynyt vedenalaisiin kallionseinämiin.
Nervin sukeltaminen on mahdollista ainoasta sukelluskeskuksesta, joka sijaitsee pienessä lomakohteessa, mutta lyhyen matkan päässä Genovan keskustassa on useita muita keskuksia, jotka tutkivat myös Ligurian hylkyjä. Nervissä sukellettaessa sukelluskursseja on tarjolla kaikentasoisille sukeltajille.

1. Isuela

Located in the Bay of San Fruttuoso, this site features a bronze statue at a depth of 15 meters. It is accessible for scuba diving and is suited for divers of all levels. The site is a tribute to underwater explorer Dario Gonzatti, offering a unique cultural experience.
3. Punta Chiappa
Famous for its steep drop-offs, Punta Chiappa is perfect for scuba divers seeking moderate adventure. The site is rich in marine life, featuring barracudas, moray eels, and octopuses. It's ideal for both scuba and freediving, with its deep and shallow spots.
4. Grotta dell'Eremita
This cave site attracts advanced scuba divers with its intricate formations. The cave harbors colorful sponges and numerous shrimp species. Due to its technical nature, it's recommended for experienced divers only. The site is ideal for those seeking underwater exploration.
5. Capo Mortola
Known for its dramatic underwater landscape, Capo Mortola offers both scuba and freediving opportunities. Divers can encounter a variety of fish species and vibrant corals. The site is generally considered easy, making it accessible for divers of all skill levels.
Parhaat kuukaudet sukeltaa Nervissä
Sukelluskausi Italiassa on huhtikuusta marraskuuhun, ja vilkkain kuukausi on elokuu, jolloin Portofinon meripuistossa sukellettaessa on odotettavissa tungosta. Talvikuukausina tammikuusta maaliskuuhun veden lämpötila voi laskea noin 15 ℃:iin, kun taas kesäkuukausina heinäkuusta syyskuuhun veden lämpötila on enimmillään noin 25 ℃.
