CHANGO DIVING

Our aim is to make sure you come out of the water with a smile! Chango Diving is a freediving and scuba diving school. Whether you’re diving with or without a tank, our instructors, who are experts in their field, will ensure you make the most of the conditions offered by our Mediterranean coast. Just a 15-minute boat ride away, discover the rich marine life of the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Around twenty dive sites await you in this deep bay, sheltered from the prevailing winds. You’ll have the chance to dive at sites such as Grande Baie, the Coral Grotto, the Semaphore Drop-off, Caussinière, Crau de Nao… With its steep seabed, the bay of Villefranche is also a legendary spot for freediving: just a few hundred metres from the shore, depths of over 100 metres offer the world’s best freedivers the chance to train in peace, sheltered along the coast.

Our courses and training sessions are always organised in small groups. You will always be supervised by one instructor for a maximum of four participants, to maximise one-to-one time and ensure the highest standard of teaching. Whether diving or freediving, you will be guided step by step according to your individual progress, so that we can work together towards your success.

Our team consists of two permanent instructors: one is responsible for organising freediving trips and courses, whilst the other focuses on scuba diving. This arrangement allows us to run two completely separate schools that share the same equipment. Our instructors are therefore able to devote 100% of their time to their students. Other instructors who share the same values as our team also come to lend a hand during the high season.
