The small sponges is a gigantic plateau in front of the cathedral of Villeneuve lès Maguelone. It is made of a heap of rocks one on the other going from 10 to 6 meters deep. One finds there enormously of holes to be able to excavate.
The holes on the site are full of sars. We can see conger eels, lobsters, octopuses, and many nudibranchs. This site also shelters morays which are rare in the region.
