The wreck of the Le Sor, located off Saint-Cyprien, is a popular dive site. The wreck lies at a depth of around 28 metres, making it an accessible dive for advanced divers.
At the foot of the Collioure Commandos training centre, the relief is very pronounced. Faults, overhangs, cavities and rocky outcrops generate currents that encourage fish of various sizes to congregate.

The atmosphere is ghostly as the wreck lies on its keel off Port-Vendres in 45 metres of water. The stern, lying on its side, is separated from the rest of the ship. The emergency propeller is still clearly visible near the aft cargo mast on the port side.
