Bang Mexico là một trong 31 tiểu bang của Hoa Kỳ và nằm liền kề (phía bắc) với thủ đô Mexico City. Đây là một tiểu bang không có biển, tuy nhiên sân bay quốc tế ở Mexico City rất dễ tiếp cận và hầu hết các điểm lặn biển đều chỉ cách đó một chuyến bay ngắn. Mexico có rất nhiều điểm lặn biển nổi tiếng nằm rải rác dọc theo bờ biển phía tây và phía đông. Trên bờ biển phía đông hướng ra Thái Bình Dương là San Carlos, Punta Mita, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Zihuatanejo, Acapulco và Huatulco, với quần đảo Socorro và Guadalupe ngoài khơi. Trên bờ biển phía tây của Mexico hướng ra Vịnh Mexico và Biển Caribe là Veracruz, Cancún, Playa del Carmen và Tulum, với đảo Cozumel và Isla Mujeres ngoài khơi.

Los Morros de Potosí (Guerrero)

Mexico cho phép lặn biển quanh năm, mặc dù điều kiện có thể khác nhau tùy từng khu vực.
